DVD/HD digital download — Running time: 40 mins

Waterlight – portrait of a chalk stream is based around a series of poems by Clare Crossman which explore and celebrate the beautiful River Mel, a chalk stream in South Cambridgeshire. By interweaving the poems with contributions from those who have a close relationship with the river — whether mill owner, ecologist, historian or dog walker — and showing some of the flora and fauna that relies on it, the film provides a portrait of a wonderful but rare and increasingly endangered habitat.

“A film made with gentle and perceptive glimpses that, like the Mel
itself, reflects the poetry, music, life and wildlife of the lowland
landscape and human community through which it flows: its serenity
marks it out as a work of art.”
— Stephen P. Tomkins (Cam Valley Forum)

You can buy the film as a download for £4.00, as a DVD for £4.50 (+p&p), or in both formats for the discounted price of £6.50 (+p&p).
